The Program shows its commitment to a solid and qualified training of professionals with an entrepreneurial capacity to develop socio-cultural and educational issues in terms of strengthening identities, territorialities, socio-cultural diversity, with a focus on scientific production and impact in the generation of technical and technological products from projects related to the University-Company interaction process in the Amazonian fisheries sector and developments on the sustainability of the activity and the full use of fish in a processing company; training of fish handlers in the municipality of Bragança-PA, in addition to a patent through the Registration Institution: INPI - National Institute of Industrial Property on the preservation of fish in tucupi and jambu sauce, coordinated by Professor Marileide Moraes Alves.

It is also noteworthy that most teachers, students, graduates of the Program in partnership with researchers from other National and International Institutions, work in interdisciplinary projects focusing on the areas of Education and Human Rights, indigenous peoples, intercultural practices and experiences, local knowledge fisheries in the Amazon, fishing naval heritage in the Amazon, eating habits and conflicts in the Amazon, health and socio-biodiversity, Amazon literature, translation and narratology and education, both in traditional communities, public and private institutions, with emphasis on collaboration with public networks education.

There are also several teachers who have been dedicated to the development and analysis of didactic materials and digital collections and new / other teaching-learning possibilities. The projects of Knowledge and production of Afro-indigenous digital collections and intercultural interactions stand out; Knowledge of indigenous fishing: production of intercultural teaching material in Tenetehar-Tembé schools, The use of assistive technologies in quilombola and fishing communities and the production of booklets such as Coastal-Estuarine Ecology and Local Fishing Knowledge from the collection of booklets From Fishing to School) , between the study groups of UFPA / Bragança ESAC, GUEAM and LABPEXCA Laboratory, at Domingos de Sousa Melo School, Vila do Bonifácio - Ajuruteua - Bragança (PA).

The Cursinho Popular Extension Project Dr. Horácio Schneider under the pedagogical coordination of Professor Silvia Benchimol, with results of high approval rates for local and national universities. Since 2017, the ABC English Extension Project has been serving an average of 70 underprivileged students / year with an initiation in the English language and enabling them to live as citizens with more opportunities for insertion. PROLIN - Extension Project, also under the same coordination, helps approved candidates to enter Postgraduate Programs throughout the national territory by legitimizing their competence in reading.

Projects aimed at indigenous populations, such as: The production of intercultural teaching material in the Tenetehar-Tembé schools, coordinated by Professor Roberta Sá Leitão Barboza; Portuguese and indigenous languages in the Eastern Amazon, coordinated by Professor Tabita Fernandes da Silva. The execution of these projects enables the production of books, book chapters, booklets, articles in qualis magazines that are used by researchers and the community in general.
